Lincoln Orienteers will be conducting two unique Orienteering Events to coincide
with our Annual Inter-Club Relay with the Saltbush Orienteering Club from Whyalla

The first is to be held at the Coffin Bay Golf Course, and will be a Twilight Event, with the
course being open from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

This will be a Score Event, with a total of 25 Controls laid over this beautiful, undulating and
most picturesque Course. A very ‘runnable”, but nonetheless quite challenging area in total,
and the resident kangaroo population is very friendly and relaxed also.

The Event Fees will be $5.00 for each participant, Juniors 11-18 $2, with youngsters 10 years old and under,
free.
SI Sticks will not be used for this event – instead we will be reverting to the ‘old’ Punch-
Card System – rather unique really!!
Note especially – You will all need to have a very good and fully workable torch (and spare
batteries). There will be no moon that evening, and as we are getting very close to the
shortest day of the year,it will be getting dark quite early.
This will be the first occasion upon which we have Orienteered upon this entire Course. The
Coffin Bay Golf Club have been fully supportive and generous.
At the completion of your Event, the Restaurant facility of 34 Degrees South will be open in
the Golf Club Rooms, immediately adjacent to our Start/Finish Area.
