There are five courses on offer at Louth Bay.  All courses have their challenges, and traversing the entire map is relatively easy, as there are no hills to contend with.  Should be an enjoyable experience!!

The course lengths are listed below.  To secure a map for your preferred course please pre-enter by return email.  Entry at the event on the day is also available.

Easy Course – 2.1 km.  A neat lap of the township with short excursions into the surrounding parklands.

Moderate Course – 2.9 km.  Enjoy a more challenging course with some interesting control locations.

Hard X Course  –  2.7 km A short but challenging course for those who want to test their technical skills through the sandhill country.

Hard Short  –  4 km.  Challenge your navigation skills in the terrain surrounding the golf course.

Hard Long  –  5.7 km.  Test your map reading, fine navigation and route choice skills with a course that utilises the whole map.

When:  next Sunday 26^th June

Where:  Dorward Reserve (which is actually within the Town, and virtually opposite the Louth Bay Community Centre).  It will be well sign posted so there should be no difficulty in finding us. Signs will be posted from the Louth Bay turn-off  on the Lincoln Highway.

Time:   Start between 10.30-1pm

This course is set using the Sport Ident system.  You will need an SI stick to record your controls.  Hire $2 or purchase $50

Enjoy the bbq plate and free tea and coffee facilities available for a picnic lunch.
