Perfect conditions greeted the almost 40 participants for today’s last event of the year – the Navigator College sprint!
There was a few technical issues with the laptop, but fortunately it came to life in time to record everyone’s results. Sprint orienteering is all about making quick decisions on route choices, and there was some excellent results, especially from some who knew the school grounds quite well…probably an unfair advantage!!
After a sausage sizzle, we followed up with a star relay event, which was very closely contested, but it was the school aged team that ended up with the chocolates!
Thanks to Paquita and family for course setting, and Ben for cooking the BBQ!
