Lovely cool and calm conditions greeted the approx 70 paticipants who ventured over to Boston Island for today’s orienteering event. A huge thanks to Paquita and family for organising this event which entailed multiple trips over to the island to set controls. Thanks also to Peter Davis and family for allowing access to this unique property. It was great to see some new faces who were giving orienteering a go for the first time, as well as some of our friends from Saltbush Orienteers who had travelled down from Whyalla.
A wonderful day was had by all!
As for the results, Elodie and Hilary won the 1hr event gathering 60 pts. Phil Clem managed to collect all the controls in the quickest time under 2hrs. And Jess Muller from Saltbush also collected all controls in the fastest time for the 3hr group.
