What a huge weekend of orienteering for Lincoln Orienteers! Three events in three days, with the major event of the SA long distance Championships on the Sunday, attracting 99 entries. The majority of these competitors travelled from Adelaide to be involved, as well as several competitors from Victoria and approx 20 local participants. It began

Approx 60 participants were greeted by beautiful weather conditions at the picturesque “Mourilya” for today’s orienteering event. It was great to see some new faces giving orienteering a try at the first cross country event of this season. Almost 70 people (and several dogs!) enjoyed the delightful Coffin Bay orienteering event today, with most also staying afterwards for a BBQ breakfast/brunch of bacon and eggs!
