Lincoln Orienteers rounded off their 2025 season in style with a day of fun and friendship at Brinkworth Reserve. The celebrations began with participants trying out the brand-new permanent courses now available at the reserve, followed by a relaxed cuppa and sausage sizzle.
After lunch, the group enjoyed a treasure hunt, with everyone successfully tracking down the hidden chest and persuading the pirates on guard to share some of their loot! The day finished with a novelty relay event, cleverly incorporating some of the information plaques dotted around the reserve.
A big thank you goes to Cath and Jan for their excellent organisation, and to the Abbotts and Sheridans for their valuable help on the day.
All in all, it was a fun, memorable, and fitting way to close out our orienteering program for 2025!
