Lincoln oreienteers hosted the event at Mena View last Sunday with 77 participants ranging in age from 18 months to over 80 years of age.
Five courses covered all orienteering skill levels from easy for beginners, to challenging for the skilled navigator. With course lengths from 1.8 km through to 5.3 km, there was something for everyone.
Delightfully located at the head of a broad valley with views of Coffin Bay, Cape Sir Isaac and Mount Greenly, the scenery was spectacular. Kangaroos, wildflowers and a million limestone rocks featured at this event. The campfire and BBQ were a great spot to catch up afterwards. A number of first timers and new families were made very welcome.
