Lincoln orienteers welcomed approx 45 participants to the last event of the season today, at the beautiful Brinkworth Reserve. The course setter provided a twist on normal proceedings with no control numbers or descriptions provided on the maps. This did prove rather challenging for both new and experienced competitors but hopefully helped sharpen our orienteering

Lincoln oreienteers hosted the event at Mena View last Sunday with 77 participants ranging in age from 18 months to over 80 years of age. The Eyre Peninsula Interclub Relays saw Lincoln Orienteers pitted against Saltbush Orienteers once again. While our A team retained the Ironstone trophy, Saltbush won the B and C classes (Jade and Quartz trophies) and the overall trophy. For the first cross country event of the season we travelled to the Kapinnie Lakes map north of Cummins.
