Approx 40 participants enjoyed the cool conditions for the last event of our summer street/park orienteering series. This evening’s event was a fast and furious sprint orienteering course around the St Joseph’s School and PLHS campuses.
Tim Ashman came out on top in the individual long course in a time of 26m:17s, with newcomers Lauren Christian and Joseph Snyder finishing first of the groups.
Only a single second separated the first two placings for the short course, with Ruby Woolford finishing ahead of Patrice Glass by the smallest of margins. Jerry and Archer Williams, and Auden Sundqvist were first of the groups in 20m:51s.
And after testing their skills on the longer course, Eli Sundqvist raced around the easy course in the fastest time of 7m:37s.
